| This place is on my daily route to my studio from my home. Every morning I pull up to the stop sign, look to my left, and this is what I see. For years I've thought to myself "That would make a great painting" I finally decided to start painting the places I see on my daily routine. I was drawn to the place because of the dark shapes in the two trees in front against the warm gray mass behind and the way the lines of the fence and the road take you into infinity. I love the thought of what could be over the hill. |
