If you have never been to Squire House Gardens In Afton MN, you must come and see! It's an absolutely amazing venue and worth the trip to simply experience what Martin and Richard have done! 

I have been invited along with Andy Evanson (watercolors)  Jim Dimmers (acrylic) and Richard Meacock (also oils and co - owner of Squire House along with Martin) to be part of their annual fine art show.

 The Mutable Nature of Metaphor - a painter and poet dissect each other's craft and process

Join painter Kami Polzin and poet Roger Bonair-Agard for a fascinating look at how different types of artists approach the creative process. In the months before the festival, the artists met discussed how they work. Roger has written a poem about the experience he will share here, and much of the subsequent conversation will revolve around what the artists learned from each other.

Kami will be doing a painting demonstration on Saturday August 15th during the art crawl at the Tamarack Gallery from 10:30-12:30.  This demo is free and open to the public.  Hope to see you there!
