Kami's Painting "Co-op Vegetables" Has been recently accepted into the 2008 Eastern Regional Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils for Oil Painters of America.  This year's show will be held at the Richland Fine Art in Nashville Tennessee.  The show opens October 15, 2008.


"I am very inspired and influenced by my surroundings of everyday life.  It is Life and It's experiences that bring me greatest inspiration.  To me, great art is capturing the emotion of the place, not just making a pretty picture.  It's not only the 'sense of place' I am after when at the easel but the emotion or mood of the day and how I am responding to that.  Studying the natural world is such a blessing!  It is SO beautiful!  Whether in the studio or in the field, it is through the study and observation of the natural world that continues to inspire and teach me to paint."
